This is my entry for the Amy Butler Inspired Bag contest. Amy's fabric is bright and colorful-just like a pretty spring day. So, my bag is titled "Spring Day". It was very hard to decide on what line of fabric I would use (because I love them all). So, I used a little of everything from Belle, Lotus, Gypsy Caravan, Nigella, Ginger Bliss, Temple Flowers and Charm (yes, I do like to collect fabric). This oversized tote is perfect for a day at the farmer's market, picnic and with all the colors in the bag, it looks great with just about anything!

On the front of the bag, I patched together a variety of prints and then added a cute little Blue Bird flying off to a pretty blooming tree (it wouldn't be spring without chirping birds).

The back of the bag has two large pockets and two butterflies flying off as they burst out of their cocoon.

Even the inside of this bag will put a smile on your face because every time you open it up, a cute little bird will be looking at you!
I had lots of fun making this bag and it's very easy for me to be inspired with all Amy's pretty fabrics = )
